Digital Desert

While still exploring the use of digital painting in my work at my first year of university, the prompt was given to create a city in the desert, with a bridge leading to said city.
This specific piece was to explore an oil painting style on the digital canvas, mainly in the sky as I believe that a desert’s beauty is held in the sky, not the sand.
This was created using basic brushes in Photoshop while using a Wacom Intuos tablet.
